ORGANIC RECYCLING PROGRAM: Dear Members of East Lake Village Shores: As required by state law SB 1383, the City of Yorba Linda has launched a new residential organic recycling program in partnership with the City’s waste hauler, Republic Services. Beginning July 1, 2022, residents must place organic waste, such as food scraps and yard trimmings, in your existing brown yard waste cart. Download HOW TO GUIDE HERE
*Your current organic cart (formerly yard-waste) color is brown. In the future, replacement organic carts will reflect the state defined color scheme of a gray body with a green lid.
*Your current trash cart color is black. In the future, replacement trash carts will reflect the state defined color scheme of a gray body with a gray lid.

Community Reminders At a Glance
MONTHLY ASSESSMENTS: Please remember the East Lake Village Shores collection policy states all assessments are due on the 1st of each month and late if not received by the last day of each month. If the last day of the month falls on a weekend (Saturday or Sunday), the late fee would not be assessed until all payments are processed the following Monday. Due to this policy, you will usually receive your monthly paper statement the third week of the month. Homeowners can always mail in payments without the statement.
